Arrival and Pick-Up

The safety of you and your child is of the utmost concern to us, therefore:

  • You must personally deliver/pickup your child to his/her classroom and make direct contact with the teacher.
  • Children may not be left unattended in cars or in the parking lot.
  • Children are only allowed in the Center during their contracted hours, unless previous arrangements have been made.
  • Children are not allowed to enter or leave the classroom area without a parent.
  • If someone other than the parent or caregiver is picking up a child, they must be 16 years or older, listed on the emergency form (as someone authorized to pick up your child) and bring a picture ID.
  • If someone other than the authorized person will be picking up your child, you must notify the Center in advance. (For the first few weeks of enrollment, parents and caregivers may be asked to show a picture ID as well. This is for the protection of your child, so please comply willingly to these requests).
  • All children must be picked up by 6:00 p.m. Late fees will be assessed at rates listed in Fees section of the Parent Handbook. After 7:00 p.m., our staff will be instructed to notify the Department of Welfare of the situation if they have received no response from the parent.

New Hampshire law does not allow us to refuse a non-custodial parent from taking the child unless we have a court order barring the parent from taking the child. We will attempt to delay his/her departure until the custodial parent can be notified.
